In tonight's concert, Jagoda Różycka & Luís Lélis present the repertoire of Billie Holiday, whose deeply expressive voice, intimate phrasing, and emotional honesty transformed jazz singing forever. From timeless standards to songs marked by tenderness, resilience, and quiet intensity, her recordings remain among the most moving in jazz history. A night of beauty, soul and a heartfelt tribute to one of the most iconic voices of the twentieth century.

Jagoda Różycka is a Polish jazz vocalist based in Lisbon, known for her warm stage presence, expressive interpretations of the Great American Songbook, and deep appreciation for the legendary female voices who shaped the history of jazz. Joining her on piano is Luís Lélis, a Portuguese jazz pianist known for his lyrical touch, refined musicality, and deep appreciation for the jazz tradition.
