Jazz Nights by The Midnight Espresso is a live jazz session designed for those who value atmosphere, artistry and quality over crowds. With only 44 tickets available, this experience brings you up close to exceptional musicians while you enjoy expertly crafted cocktails in a historical setting.

French American actress and singer, Emilie Ohana, accompanied by a wonderful ensemble of talented Portuguese jazz musicians, invites the audience into an intimate world where jazz standards, storytelling and spoken word intertwine with humour, sensuality and vulnerability. Moving between smoky swing and haunting ballads, timeless songs once carried by voices like Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Billie Holiday, Abbey Lincoln and Nina Simone are revisited through a singular journey exploring what she calls “the grammar of love.” Blending poetic spoken interludes with music, the performance moves seamlessly between humour and melancholy, desire and heartbreak, memory and letting go, creating a world that feels at once deeply personal and universally familiar. More than a jazz concert, it is a live experience about everything love leaves behind.

Emilie Ohana will be accompanied by a talented ensemble of musicians: Francisco Nogueira on bass, Fabio Rodrigues on drums and Tiago Paiva on guitar.
