Jazz Nights by The Midnight Espresso is a live jazz session designed for those who value atmosphere, artistry and quality over crowds. With only 44 tickets available, this experience brings you up close to exceptional musicians while you enjoy expertly crafted cocktails in a historical setting.

For this intimate concert, the singer Mariana Brissos has invited pianist Luís Lélis to explore and improvise on the jazz repertoire and its variations, ranging from contemporary music to Brazilian music. The result is a diverse and musical concert, brimming with moments of sensitivity, interpretation and connection.

Mariana Brissos, a native of Lisbon, is a singer and songwriter who blends influences from traditional and contemporary jazz, soul and Brazilian music. She graduated with a degree in Jazz Singing from the Lisbon School of Music, having already established her own project featuring original music. With a growing presence on the music scene, she is involved in various projects and has been invited to join the tour for Maria João’s latest album, “Abundância”, performing on major stages and at international jazz festivals. Luís Lélis is one of the most sought-after pianists of the new generation of Portuguese jazz. Whether leading his own trio or taking part in projects such as Manuel João Vieira’s “Corações de Atum”, Maria Carvalho’s “Margem” or “Limbo Trio”, he performs regularly in Lisbon’s clubs and at festivals across the country.
