With only 44 seats available, each session offers a unique opportunity to experience the charm, sophistication and gentle energy of live Bossa Nova as the city transitions from afternoon to night.

This Sunday, The Midnight Espresso welcomes Mariana Brissos for a special evening dedicated to the timeless classics of Bossa Nova. With her expressive voice and elegant interpretation, Mariana will bring to life some of the most beloved songs from the Brazilian repertoire, celebrating composers such as António Carlos Jobim, Vinicius de Moraes, João Gilberto and other icons who shaped one of the world's most cherished musical genres. Mariana Brissos will be joined by João Mesquita on guitar.

Mariana Brissos is a singer and songwriter who blends influences from traditional and contemporary jazz, soul and Brazilian music. She graduated with a degree in Jazz Singing from the Lisbon Higher School of Music, having already established her own project featuring original music. With a growing presence on the music scene, she is involved in various projects and has been invited to join the tour for Maria João’s latest album, “Abundância”, performing on major stages and at international jazz festivals.
